TROUBLESHOOTING

INDICATOR LIGHT FLASHING RED

If the remote's indicator light is flashing red it can be one of three problems. The remote is not yet paired with the control box, the distance between the remote and the control box is greater than the maximum stable distance, or the current environment provides too much signal interference with the remote control's transmitter.

REMOTE SIGNAL IS NOT CONSISTANT, WINCH IS TURNING ON AND OFF RAPIDLY

This issue can be caused by a few things. The wireless remote's 9V battery is low on energy, or there is interference with the wireless connection. Try moving the remote closer to the control box.

NOTHING HAPPENS WHEN PRESSING IN OR OUT BUTTONS ON REMOTE CONTROL

  1. Ensure the circuit breaker on the battery connector whip is not tripped.

  2. Ensure there is no damage to any of the power wires.

  3. Ensure no corrosion is present on the battery terminal connectors where the wiring whip connects to the battery.

  4. If the wiring box is equipped with an ignition switch wire, ensure the ignition switch wire has a +12V signal.

  5. If all else fails, try using the included MR-1050 hand-held remote to control the winches.
